ABOUT

 

Connor Delves is an Australian-born, New York-based actor, singer, producer, and director who has worked in the US, UK & Australia.

He is currently starring as Australia's first and only Tour de France winner, Cadel Evans in ‘CADEL: Lungs On Legs’, the smash-hit play in which he rides live on stage for the duration of the performance.

The production played sold-out runs in Edinburgh and Australia to critical acclaim, winning Best Show Of The Fringe from Theatre Weekly and Underbelly's Fringe Fix Wild Card Selection, an OFFIE Nomination, as well as a Best Of Theatre Weekly Award Win at Adelaide Fringe in 2026. It was performed at the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race (Geelong Arts Centre) with Cadel Evans in attendance in January, 2026. He was lauded as “remarkable” (The Stage), “magnificent” (Theatre Weekly), “a tour de force, with vivid, compelling energy” (The Scotsman) & “triumphant” (The Recs).


The production is slated for a major Off-Broadway run in 2027, along with seasons in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

He can be seen on TV and Film in "Pinball: The Man Who Saved the Game" with Mike Faist (Hulu), "Sugar Plum Twist" (Hallmark), "The Weight Of Home" (SIFF Best Actor Nom). Connor starred as Mercutio in the UK premiere of "Starcrossed" at Wilton's Music Hall, London, for which he earned OFFIE and BroadwayWorld Nominations, praised as "truly fabulous...his speech at the top of act two is a masterpiece" (WhatsOnStage). Select Off-Broadway credits include: "Daniel's Husband", "Endangered: The Musical", "Holy Day" & "Precious Little Talent".

He is a graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts (NY) and was a member of the2017 NY Academy Company. He is represented in the U.S. by Metropolis Artist Agency, and TTA in the UK.

Connor is a Founding Co-Artistic & Executive Director of The Australian Theatre Festival NYC.
